Handwara : Police on Tuesday attached a residential house worth ₹10.18 lakh belonging to a drug peddler, Mehraj-Ud-Din Gojree, R/O Langate Handwara, under the NDPS Act.
In a statement issued here on Tuesday Police said that the property was identified as having been renovated through illicit drug trafficking proceeds linked to Case FIR No. 05/2022 at Police Station Handwara. In its statement Police reiterated its commitment to dismantle the economic backbone of drug networks.
