Jammu | Nov,2: International Pencak Silat players from Jammu and Kashmir, Aqsa Gulzar and Muskan Shaban, on Monday called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and raised various issues concerning the promotion of sports in the Shehr-e-Khaas area of Srinagar.
The players, accompanied by National Coach Mohammad Iqbal, apprised the Lieutenant Governor of issues related to sports development and the need to strengthen sporting opportunities and infrastructure in the historic downtown area.
The interaction focused on promoting sports at the grassroots level and creating better opportunities for young talent to pursue sporting activities and represent the region at national and international platforms.
Aqsa Gulzar and Muskan Shaban have represented Jammu and Kashmir in international Pencak Silat competitions.
