New Delhi | October, 31: Union Home Minister Amit Shah stated that the abrogation of Article 370 successfully integrated Jammu and Kashmir with the rest of the nation, describing it as a landmark achievement of the Central government.
Addressing the ‘Run for Unity’ event in New Delhi on Rashtriya Ekta Diwas, Shah said, “When we succeed in building a drug-free India, it will be the most significant achievement among all these initiatives for the country’s youth and its future.” Highlighting future goals, official sources said the Home Minister established December 31, 2029, as the national target deadline to achieve a completely drug-free India (‘Nasha-Mukt Bharat’). Shah emphasized that overcoming Naxalism and curbing drug abuse remain vital pillars to ensuring long-term national security, social stability, and economic growth for the country’s youth.
