During the inspection, the Commissioner Secretary emphasised the need for adequate feed stock and uninterrupted availability of essential medicines, besides ensuring proper heating arrangements to safeguard the animals against the prevailing cold conditions. She also stressed maintaining proper sanitation and hygiene across the facility, with regular cleaning and effective upkeep of all sections.

Mandeep Kaur directed the concerned officers to ensure timely replenishment of essential supplies, close monitoring of day-to-day operations and proper care of animals housed at the facility. The officers were asked to address any shortcomings promptly and ensure that the facility remains adequately equipped and operationally efficient.
