Pattan : The Indian Army has initiated the North Kashmir Youth Conclave 2026 at SSM College of Engineering, focusing on youth empowerment and skill development under Operation Sadbhavna.

The event, themed “NayiSoch, Nayi Disha, Naya Kashmir,” aims to inspire young individuals to pursue diverse career paths and enhance their employability, thereby contributing to the socio-economic growth of Jammu and Kashmir. The conclave gathers students, youth representatives, academicians, and industry professionals to discuss critical topics such as education, entrepreneurship, and career opportunities. A significant feature of the event is a job fair that connects graduates and job seekers with various companies, facilitating direct interactions with potential employers. Participants have expressed optimism about the initiative’s potential to alleviate employment challenges in the region by broadening career guidance beyond traditional government roles. Feedback from attendees highlights the relevance of the conclave in addressing local employment issues, with many emphasizing the importance of strengthening the corporate sector in Kashmir. The event is seen as a valuable opportunity for graduates to navigate the competitive job market and identify career paths aligned with their skills and interests. Students have shown appreciation for the Army’s efforts in organizing the conclave, recognizing its role in enhancing their understanding of diverse employment opportunities. Overall, the two-day program aims to foster interaction between youth and professionals, promoting discussions on career planning and personal development. Through such initiatives, the Indian Army continues to support youth engagement and skill development, ultimately contributing to the region’s socio-economic advancement.
