Baramulla | October, 24: A 45-year-old woman tragically lost her life after being hit by a fast-moving scooter in the Malpora area of Sheeri in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district. Officials said the pedestrian sustained critical injuries in the road accident and was immediately rushed to PHC Sheeri for emergency treatment, where attending doctors declared her brought dead on arrival.
The deceased has been identified as Gulshan Begum, wife of Mohammad Ramzan Lone, a resident of Malpora, Sheeri. Meanwhile, police officials confirmed that cognisance of the fatal accident has been taken and a formal probe has been initiated into the matter.
