Dry Weather Expected To Prevail For Next Three Days
Srinagar | October 20: The Meteorological Centre Srinagar has issued a weather advisory forecasting a brief spell of rain and higher-reach snowfall across Jammu and Kashmir starting October 24.
In a statement issued here on Tuesday Meteorological Department said conditions are expected to remain generally dry across the Union Territory until October 23, followed by cloudy skies, light rain, and light snowfall over scattered places on October 24. Gusty winds and localized thunderstorms may also occur from late night on October 23 through the forenoon of October 24.
Dry weather is expected to return from October 25 through the end of the month. Farmers across the region have been advised to complete their harvesting and field activities during the upcoming dry window.
