Handwara : The Roads and Buildings (R&B) Division Handwara has undertaken macadamisation of the road leading to Baderkali Temple ahead of Mahanavami to facilitate the movement of devotees visiting the shrine.
The work is being carried out under the supervision of Executive Engineer R&B Division Handwara Farooq Ahmad Shah, with the department aiming to improve road conditions and ensure smoother access to the temple during the religious occasion.
The macadamisation is intended to reduce inconvenience for devotees travelling to the shrine and improve connectivity in the area ahead of the festival.
The initiative comes as preparations are underway for Mahanavami, when devotees visit religious places to offer prayers and participate in rituals.
The department’s work is aimed at ensuring better road access for visitors during the occasion.
