Anantnag : Police on Friday attached a double-storey residential house valued at approximately ₹50 lakh belonging to a habitual drug peddler in Gadhangipora, Bijbehara, under Section 68-F of the NDPS Act.
In a statement issued here on Friday, Police said the property belonged to Bashir Ahmad Dar S/O Late Habibullah Dar R/O Gadhangipora, Bijbehara, who is named in multiple NDPS cases registered at Police Station Bijbehara (FIR Nos. 83/2023, 216/2024, 139/2025, and 241/2025).
In its statement Police reiterated that stringent action will continue against individuals involved in narcotics trafficking, including the identification and seizure of assets acquired through illegal means.
