Officer To Also Hold Charge Of Amarnath Shrine Board
Srinagar | October, 15: The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Thursday ordered the posting of Govind Jaiswal, IAS (AGMUT: 2007), as Principal Secretary to the Lieutenant Governor. According to an order issued by the General Administration Department, Jaiswal, who was awaiting adjustment orders, has been posted to the position with immediate effect.
Officials said Jaiswal will also hold the additional charge of Chief Executive Officer, Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board, alongside his primary duties until further orders. The key administrative position fell vacant following the appointment of Mandeep K Bhandari (IAS: 2001: AGMUT) as Chairman of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on September 25, 2026.
