Srinagar, Oct 14: The Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) on Wednesday revised school timings across the Kashmir Division, with the new schedule coming into effect from October 15, 2026.
As per the order, schools within the municipal limits of Srinagar will function from 10:00 am to 3:30 pm, while those outside the municipal limits of Srinagar and in other areas of the Kashmir Division will operate from 10:30 am to 4:00 pm.
The revised timings will be applicable to both government and recognised private schools across the division.
The department has directed all concerned institutions to strictly adhere to the new schedule without any deviation.
