Srinagar |Oct, 8:President of the All J&K Panchayat Conference Anil Sharma called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha here on Thursday and discussed various issues concerning Panchayats and local governance.
Dr Jagmeet Kour Bali, Chairperson of the All Sikh Minority Employees Association (ASMEA) and All Employees Joint Association (AEJAK), also called on the Lieutenant Governor and projected various issues concerning the community, including promotion of the Punjabi language.
A delegation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Kashmir, led by Aatif Khan, separately met the Lieutenant Governor and discussed measures for promotion of industries and the trade sector in Jammu and Kashmir.
Dr Mehjabeen Nabi, President and Founder of CARE Foundation, also called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and discussed issues related to the foundation’s areas of work.
Later Atal Pithadishwar Rajguru Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Vishwatamand Saraswati ji Maharaj called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha.He was accompanied by Ms Shilpa Dubey, former Member, District Development Council Vijaypur.
