Key Shifts In Civil Admin: Kabra Assigned Additional Charge of Rev Deptt, Several DCs Transferred

Srinagar | October, 07: The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Wednesday carried out a major administrative reshuffle involving 49 IAS and JKAS officers, appointing Basharat Qayoom as Commissioner, Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) and assigning Shaleen Kabra additional charge of Administrative Secretary, Revenue Department.
According to an order issued from the General Administration Departmemnt the following transfers and postings have been ordered with immediate effect in the interest of administration.
Shaleen Kabra, IAS, Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary), Jal Shakti Department, shall also hold the additional charge of the post of Administrative Secretary, Revenue Department relieving Kumar Rajeev Ranjan, IAS of the additional charge.
Dr Ashish Chandra Verma, IAS, Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary), Tourism Department has been transferred and posted as Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary), Agriculture Production Department.
Sarmad Hafeez, IAS, Commissioner/Secretary, Social Welfare Department has been transferred and posted as Commissioner/Secretary, Youth Services and Sports Department.
Ramesh Kumar, IAS, Divisional Commissioner, Jammu has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, holding additional charge of Administrative Secretary, Culture Department and continuing as Resident Commissioner, New Delhi.
Vikas Kundal has been posted as Divisional Commissioner, Jammu, Avny Lavasa as Secretary, Tourism Department, Rahul Yadav as Administrative Secretary, Information Technology Department, Owais Ahmed as Administrative Secretary, Planning, Development & Monitoring Department, and Dr Devansh Yadav as Deputy Commissioner, Rajouri. Shrikant Balasaheb Suse is posted as Chairman, J&K Services Selection Board, Basharat Qayoom as Commissioner, Srinagar Municipal Corporation, Minga Sherpa as Deputy Commissioner, Jammu, and Jatin Kishore as Deputy Commissioner, Budgam.
