Tral | October, 07: A man was injured after being mauled by a bear in the Monghama Dankaad area of Tral in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Wednesday, officials said.
The man was attacked by a bear in the Dankaad area of Tral while going about his day, reports said. The injured was shifted to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Tral for treatment, from where he was referred to Srinagar for further medical care, though his condition is stated to be stable. The injured was identified as Bilal Ahmad, son of Ghulam Mohammad Bhat, a resident of Monghama Dankaad.
The incident has triggered alarm in the local area, marking it as the second bear attack reported in the Tral sub-division on the same day, locals said.
