New Delhi|Oct,7: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday completed 25 years of continuous public service as Head of the Government. Prime Minister Modi visited Shree Vinayaka Temple at Sarojini Nagar in New Delhi in the morning and offered prayers there. He also participated in traditional puja-archana.
On the occasion,the Prime Minister addressed the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Sabha in New Delhi. He said that India will definitely fulfil its dream of becoming a developed nation by 2047 through visionary policies and hard work. Prime Minister Modi said that India, once associated with discussions on policy paralysis, is now increasingly being discussed for its growing strength and resilience. He said that over the past 12 years, the situation has changed completely. Prime Minister Modi noted that earlier efforts were made to increase imports, while today India is setting new export records.
The Prime Minister highlighted that India earlier imported the mobile phones needed for its own requirements, whereas today, Made in India mobile phones have made a strong presence in the global market. The Prime Minister cited agriculture as another major example of India’s transformation. He said that the decade from 2015 to 2025 witnessed the highest sustained agricultural growth since Independence, surpassing all previous records. Mr Modi said that such transformation is possible when the intent is clear and policies are well-defined.
The Prime Minister said that today the country is finding permanent solutions to its challenges. He noted that the issue of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir once seemed interminable, but the wall of Article 370 has been completely dismantled. Prime Minister observed that while Naxalism was once considered a curse upon the nation, its backbone has now been broken. He said, terrorism posed a major challenge to India’s future and people had begun to feel that neither the terrorists nor their masters would ever back down. Prime Minister said, but today, India is striking them hard by penetrating their very strongholds.
The prime minister also said that this is the time to set big targets for Bharat. Attributing his entire political journey to the unwavering faith and support of the citizens, Mr Modi said that the present Government’s policy focuses on solutions for all citizens.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that the trust of the people and the dedication of millions of party workers have been his greatest sources of strength. Prime Minister said, he visited Shri Vinayak Temple this morning and prayed for the country and its 140 crore citizens. Prime Minister said that he also prayed to the almighty to bless him with greater strength and energy so that he could continue to work with dedication and serve the people day and night. He said that the people’s trust accumulated over 25 years and the experience gained during this period are a great asset.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that when he took the oath as the Chief Minister of Gujarat on 7 October 2001, he had never imagined that this milestone will come one day. He noted that today marks the completion of 25 years of continuous service as the head of a government, a journey made possible by the unwavering blessings and support of the people. The Prime Minister expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the people of the country, the BJP, and all his political colleagues who have immense faith in democracy.
On the occasion, Vice President C P Radhakrishnan, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and several other cabinet ministers congratulated Prime Minister Modi on completing 25 years in public service as head of the government.
