Jammu : The Jammu Division of Northern Railway is enhancing passenger amenities while promoting local culture by opening an additional ‘One Station One Product’ (OSOP) outlet at Pathankot Junction Railway Station. This initiative aligns with the Prime Minister’s ‘Vocal for Local’ vision, aiming to elevate local products to a national platform.

The new outlet will feature regional delicacies such as Gajak, Aam Papad, and Rewadi, providing local artisans, confectioners, Self Help Groups, and small vendors with significant employment opportunities. This initiative not only supports local economies but also allows passengers to enjoy authentic Pathankot cuisine at reasonable prices, thereby enriching their travel experience and promoting the region’s food culture. Interested local artisans and vendors are encouraged to contact the Station Superintendent for details on eligibility and the application process. Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Uchit Singhal emphasized that the OSOP scheme is designed to create a substantial market for local products, benefiting both local communities and railway passengers.
