MLA Kulgam reviews JJM implementation, Directs timely completion of works & reliable water supply

Kulgam, :Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) Kulgam, M.Y. TarigamiWednesday  reviewed the implementation of the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) during a meeting held at the Conference Hall of Mini-Secretariat, Kulgam.

The meeting held a detailed review of the progress of various JJM works and schemes, including household coverage, status of ongoing works, functionality of water supply schemes and issues affecting the provision of drinking water.

MLA also called for timely redressal of public grievances related to drinking water supply and JJM works and emphasised that the concerns of people should be addressed on priority and that the benefits of the Mission reach every eligible household.

He further stressed the need to ensure regular and reliable drinking water supply, particularly in areas facing water supply-related issues, and directed the concerned agencies to remain responsive to the requirements of the people.

Senior officers and officials from the Jal Shakti Department, JJM DPMU, Mechanical Division, Quality Control & Procurement Division and other concerned agencies attended the meeting.
