KPDCL announces power shutdown in Kashmir Parts

SRINAGAR, OCTOBER 06: Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL has informed that the Shutdown of 33 kV Lisser Dooru LineDooru, Nowgam, Chowgund, Qammer Hiller, Sadiwara, Verinag, Toolpost and adjoining areas will be affected from 09 AM to 03 PM on 07 October 2026.

Similarly, shutdown of 33 kV Nehalpora Markundal line will be observed due to which power supply to Markundal, Naidkhai, Sumbal, Gund Boon adjoining areas will be affected from 09 AM to 03 PM on 07, 11 & 14 October 2026.

Likewise, shutdown of 33 kV KP Bagh line will be observed due to which power supply to KP Bagh, Soiteng PHE, Mehjoornagar, Jawaharnagar, Kursoo, Rajbagh, Rajbagh, Zero Bridge, Gogjibagh, Lalmandi and adjoining areas will be affected from 10 AM to 03 PM on 10 October 2026.

Similarly, shutdown of 33 KV Budgam SIDCO line will be observed due to which power supply to Ompora, SIDCO, Housing Colony, Railway Station Budgam, NIFT and adjoining areas will be affected from 09 AM to 03 PM on 10 October 2026.

Meanwhile, the Chief Engineer has informed that the Shutdown of 220 kV Wagoora-Zainakote Circuit-I line, scheduled for 10 October 2026 stands cancelled.
