Srinagar | Oct, 01:Mohd Iqbal Rather, a PhD scholar at Department of Physics NIT Srinagar, has received the Best Poster Presentation Award at the J&K Science Congress 2026, held from September 29 to October 1 at the Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST), Kashmir.
Rather’s research focuses on functional materials and environmental remediation, contributing to sustainable scientific solutions.
Dr Vijay Kumar, Assistant Professor in the Physics Department at NIT Srinagar, praised the achievement and said such accomplishments should be highlighted to encourage and recognise students’ research efforts.
He also noted that the J&K Science Congress was a major scientific conference, providing researchers and scholars an important platform to present their work.
