Srinagar, | Sept: 30: Speaker, J&K Legislative Assembly Abdul, Rahim Rather adjourned the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly sine die on the concluding day of the Autumn Session.
The session witnessed seven sittings from September 21 to 30, with Speaker using his concluding remarks to thank legislators, Assembly staff and officials involved for their contribution to the successful conduct of the session.
He thanked members for their participation and said his responsibility as presiding officer was to facilitate legislators in raising public issues and conveying the expectations of the people they represent.
The Speaker also appreciated the members for making effective use of the time available during the Session and said that their participation reflected their commitment towards addressing issues concerning the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
