Anantnag : Police on Tuesday said that it has apprehended two individuals and recovered 21 bottles of illicit liquor from their possession during a routine checkpoint operation at Bondialgam Crossing.
In a statement issued here on Tuesday, Police said a team from Police Post Dialgam established a routine naka at Bondialgam Crossing, during which two persons were intercepted with the contraband. The recovered liquor was seized as per legal protocols, and both individuals were taken into custody for further legal proceedings. In connection with the seizure, Case FIR No. 320/2026 under Section 48(a) of the Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Anantnag, and an investigation has been launched to determine further details and linkages.
