New Delhi|Sept, 19: The Rashtriya Sankalp Samaroh under the NashaMuktYuva for Viksit Bharat campaign will be held across 1,067 locations nationwide on September 20, bringing together young people for a collective pledge and signature campaign against substance abuse.
The mobilisation will involve 471 District MY Bharat Offices and 596 locations of partner organisations, including educational institutions, universities, industry bodies, spiritual organisations, NGOs and other local partners.
Spiritual organisations including Maa Amritanandmayi Math, Heartfulness and BAPS will participate across 130, 74 and 56 locations respectively. Other partners include EPSI, CIPU, AIU, Project Point, ASSOCHAM, CII, FICCI, 245 local organisations and 18 MY Bharat chapters in private and premier institutes.
The programme will feature the NashaMukt Pledge and Signature Campaign, thematic street plays, slogan writing and youth-led discussions.
The mobilisation follows activities held on September 18, when 1,430 programmes were conducted across 259 institutions, involving 1,46,520 participants across all 28 states and eight Union Territories.
The 100 Weeks NashaMuktYuva Abhiyan focuses on prevention, awareness, healthy lifestyles and positive youth engagement, with its initial activity cycle covering themes including health, fitness, addiction prevention and life skills.
