Doda | Sep, 19: A fatal road accident in the Marmat area of Doda district left one man dead and five others injured on Saturday after their utility vehicle overturned. The vehicle lost control while negotiating a stretch near Marmat, resulting in the immediate death of one occupant, identified as Gulzar Ahmed of Kalhota.
The five injured passengers—Ashvin Singh, Pawan Kumar, Pinku Kumar, Kalyan Singh, and Balbir Singh—were quickly rushed to GMC Doda for medical treatment. Local law enforcement has registered a case and commenced formal investigations into the incident, witnesses said.
