Kashmir : September 17/26 :  Jammu & Kashmir Employees Joint Consultative Committee (JK EJCC) reiterates its continued support and solidarity with the NHM Employees of Jammu & Kashmir in their genuine and long-pending demands and issues.

Mr. Saleem Sagar, Vice President, J&K Employees Joint Consultative Committee (JK EJCC), Chairman, J&K Teachers Joint Action Committee (JKTJAC) and National Secretary, All India Federation of Elementary Teachers Organizations (AIFETO), said that the legitimate concerns of NHM employees deserve due consideration and a meaningful dialogue with the Government.

He appealed to the Government of Jammu & Kashmir, particularly the Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Omar Abdullah and Hon’ble Minister for Health & Medical Education, Ms. Sakeena Itoo, to kindly call the representatives of the NHM Employees Association, J&K, for a meeting and listen to their genuine concerns sympathetically.

Mr. Sagar stated that NHM employees have been rendering important services in the health sector, and their concerns should be addressed through constructive dialogue and appropriate measures within the applicable rules and policy framework.

JK EJCC stands firmly with the NHM employees and hopes that the Government will initiate an early dialogue with their representatives to find a fair and acceptable resolution of their genuine issues.
