Udhampur : Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Minga Sherpa Wednesday chaired a meeting to deliberate on the implementation modal for the Clean Himalayan and Hill cities initiative in Patnitop area to ensure sustainable solid waste management at the Hill Station.
The meeting was attended by CEO Patnitop Development Authority, Rakesh Dubey, SDM Chenani, Dr Ranjeet Singh Kotwal and other senior officers.
A threadbare discussion was held on various aspects of the implementation of the initiative on the ground. The DC directed the concerned officers and departments to take necessary action for the timely implementation of the components under the CHHCI Action Plan.
The concerned officers were advised to ensure proper planning, coordination and effective execution of their respective responsibilities in accordance with the applicable rules and guidelines.
The DC directed the concerned officers to ensure that all necessary preparations and requisite measures are completed in a time-bound manner.
He stressed the importance of coordinated efforts among all stakeholders to achieve the objectives of the initiative and promote the sustainable, clean and environmentally responsible development of Patnitop as a premier hill destination.
