Baramulla | September, 15: Highlighting the transformative role of sports, Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo stated on Tuesday that increasing youth participation in athletic platforms reflects a positive social change across Jammu and Kashmir.
Speaking at the concluding ceremony of the CPL at General Bipin Rawat Stadium, sources said Dulloo lauded the Indian Army’s Dagger Division for organizing the event, which brought together nearly 1,600 players from over 10 districts.
The Chief Secretary assured that the government would upgrade the infrastructure at the stadium to better accommodate day-and-night events, emphasizing that sports foster essential life skills like discipline, confidence, and teamwork among the youth.
