Srinagar | September, 15: Jammu and Kashmir is likely to experience cloudy conditions accompanied by brief spells of rain, thundershowers, and gusty winds over the next two days, according to the Meteorological Centre Srinagar.
Officials said that predominantly dry weather is expected to return across the Union Territory from September 18 to 25. In light of the weather advisory, farmers have been advised to safely store harvested crops and resume farm operations, including apple and paddy harvesting, from September 18 onwards.
Temperature records indicated Srinagar at a maximum of 26.8°C, while Jammu recorded 30°C. Other stations including Pahalgam, Gulmarg, and Banihal recorded maximums of 21.6°C, 17.6°C, and 25.3°C respectively.
