Pulwama, Sept 15: Tightening the noose around drug traffickers and their financial networks, Pulwama Police has attached a double-storeyed residential house valued at ₹55 Lakh at New Colony, Kakapora, as part of its ongoing action against assets linked to the illegal narcotics trade.
The property belongs to Nasir Ahmad Dar S/o Mohd Shafi Dar R/o New Colony, Kakapora, who is involved in FIR No. 99/2026 under Sections 8/21 & 29 of the NDPS Act, registered at Police Station Pulwama.
During investigation and enquiry, the property was identified as an illegally acquired asset linked to proceeds of narcotics trafficking. Accordingly, the property has been attached under Section 68-F of the NDPS Act, 1985, thereby restricting its sale, transfer or any other form of disposal as per law.
Pulwama Police reiterates its unwavering commitment to the fight against drugs and will continue to pursue drug peddlers, their networks and properties acquired through illicit proceeds, with the cooperation and support of the public.
