Jammu|Sept,14: In view of the ongoing redevelopment of Jammu Tawi Railway Station, Jammu Division has revised the passenger entry and exit arrangements from September 16.
Under the temporary arrangement, all passengers will enter the station from the Platform No. 1 side, while passengers completing their journey will exit through the Second Side (Narwal Side).
In case a train arrives at Platform No. 1, family members and relatives accompanying passengers may also exit from the Platform No. 1 side.
The revised circulation plan has been introduced to facilitate passenger movement and ensure safety and security during the redevelopment work. Passengers have been advised to follow the directional signage installed at the station and cooperate with railway authorities.
The arrangement will remain in place during the redevelopment work to ensure construction progresses smoothly while minimising inconvenience to passengers. The redevelopment project is aimed at providing modern and improved facilities at Jammu Tawi railway station.
