Bandipora, Sep 14: The search operation to trace and retrieve the body of a nine-year-old boy, who reportedly drowned in Madhumati Nalla near DPL Bandipora, entered its fifth consecutive day on Monday.
Teams of the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) Bandipora and Battalion Headquarters Srinagar continued search efforts to locate Moomin Ahmad, a resident of Ganie Mohalla, Kuloosa, Bandipora.
Moomin had reportedly drowned in the Madhumati Nalla near DPL Bandipora on September 10.
The SDRF teams have been carrying out sustained search operations in the area, with efforts continuing to trace and retrieve the missing boy’s body.
