Budgam, Sept 12: A 29-year-old man and his three-year-old son were killed, while his wife was critically injured after a car collided with their motorcycle in the Soibugh area of Budgam district on Saturday.

An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the car bearing was travelling from Budgam towards Soibugh when it collided with a motorcycle bearing registration number JK04G-3449.

He said the motorcycle rider and his three-year-old son were killed in the accident, while the woman riding pillion sustained critical injuries.

The deceased were identified as Naseer Ahmad Mir (29), son of Gh Hassan, a resident of Ghoom Ahmadpora, Magam, and his three-year-old son, Hadi. The injured woman was identified as Dilshada Akhter (26).

The official said Dilshada sustained critical injuries and was shifted to a hospital for treatment. Her condition was not immediately known.

Meanwhile, police have taken cognisance of the incident and an investigation has been initiated.—(KNO)
