Jammu | September, 11: A 32-year-old driver lost his life after a stone-laden tractor-trolley rolled off the road in the Fulkote Baggodass area of Chassana in Reasi district on Friday, officials said.
The vehicle, which was engaged in PMGSY road construction work, plunged nearly 140 to 150 feet down a deep gorge. The driver, identified as Javed Ahmed, son of Ali Mohammad and a resident of Manjikote, Chassana, died on the spot. Police personnel reached the scene shortly after the incident and launched a formal investigation.
