B’gam : Director Mission Poshan J&K Sajad Hussain Ganai attended the Poshan Maah celebrations at the ICDS Office Budgam today. Officials said the event showcased departmental efforts surrounding early childhood care, maternal health, and community nutrition.
Addressing field functionaries, the Director emphasized universal ICDS coverage, instructing Anganwadi workers to expand grassroots outreach. He administered a pledge to participants committing to eradicate regional malnutrition, inspected food stalls featuring local nutritional diets, and distributed gifts to enrolled children to encourage early growth monitoring.
