Srinagar, September 11: Jammu and Kashmir is likely to witness generally dry weather over the next several days, with brief spells of rain and thundershowers expected at some places, according to the latest forecast issued by the Meteorological Department (MeT), Srinagar.
The weather is expected to remain generally dry from September 11 to 13, although brief spells of rain may occur at some places.
From September 14 to 16, the MeT has forecast brief spells of rain or thundershowers at scattered places, particularly during the early morning and afternoon hours.
The weather is likely to remain generally dry again from September 17 to 21, with the possibility of brief spells of rain at a few places.
The MeT has advised farmers to continue the harvesting of apple and paddy, while keeping a watch on local weather conditions and the possibility of brief rainfall.
The forecast indicates that no prolonged spell of wet weather is expected during the period, with rainfall activity likely to remain brief and localized.
