Reasi | September, 8: The skeletal remains of a woman were recovered from a dense forest area in Chassana, Reasi district on Tuesday. Officials said police teams rushed to the scene alongside family members, who subsequently identified the deceased through pieces of clothing recovered alongside the remains.
A Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team was immediately called to inspect the site and collect evidence. Officials said police have initiated formal legal proceedings to determine the exact cause and circumstances leading to the woman’s death.
