Shepherd Dies After Fall into Doda Gorge

Doda | September, 8: A 45-year-old shepherd lost his life after accidentally slipping off a rugged mountainous track and falling into a deep gorge in the Kal Jugasar area of Doda district.
Witnesses said the victim was near his temporary shelter at Lakabar Dhar when the tragic accident occurred.The deceased was later identified as Mohammad Hussain, a resident of Lati Jar in Gandoh. Officials said he sustained fatal injuries and died on the spot. His body was subsequently retrieved and handed over to his family for final rites after police completed necessary legal formalities.
