DG CRPF visits Srinagar, takes stock of security, ops preparedness

G’bal | September, 07: Director General of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) visited the 118 Battalion camp at Gund in Ganderbal on Monday to review security arrangements and commend jawans for the safe conduct of Amarnath Yatra 2026.
Addressing troops during a Sainik Sammelan, the DG conferred Commendation Certificates and DG Discs on deserving personnel, noting that coordinated security operations have contributed significantly to a decline in regional terrorist activities.
