Jammu : Director Agriculture Jammu Anil Gupta visited the fields in Kathua district to review the ongoing field-level operations under the Digital Crop Survey (DCS). He was accompanied by SMS-RL/Nodal Officer DCS Jammu Division Krishan Kant, Chief Agriculture Officer Kathua Jatinder Kumar, district-level officers, SDAOs, SMSs and field staff of the Agriculture Department.
The Director interacted with the Agriculture Surveyors engaged in the exercise and observed the Digital Crop Survey process at the field level. The Director Agriculture directed the Agriculture Surveyors to ensure timely and quality completion of assigned targets, stressing that accuracy and authenticity of the data must be ensured through proper field verification.
