DC Udhampur reviews progress of Digital crop survey under AgriStack

Udhampur : Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Minga Sherpa, Saturday convened a meeting of officers from the stakeholder departments to review the progress of the Digital Crop Survey under AgriStack in the district.

The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Prem Singh; Assistant Commissioner Revenue Dr. Umesh Shan and other concerned officers.

While reviewing the progress, the DC directed the concerned officers to expedite the pace of the survey and ensure its completion by September 15, 2026. He stressed that the exercise must be carried out in a systematic, accurate and time-bound manner.

The DC called for close coordination and regular monitoring among all concerned departments. He directed the officers to undertake daily reviews of progress and ensure prompt resolution of any issues or gaps encountered during field-level implementation.

He further stressed the need for comprehensive coverage of all villages and agricultural land parcels, directing the field functionaries to ensure accurate capture of crop details through the prescribed digital process following proper field-level verification.
