Ang : SSP Anantnag Amod Ashok Nagpure on Wednesday chaired a comprehensive operations-cum-crime review meeting at DPO Anantnag to assess the overall security situation and review the progress of ongoing investigations, police said in a statement issued here on Wednesday.
The meeting was attended by ASP North Camp Ashmuqam Rameez Raja, all SDPOs, SHOs, and In-Charges of Police Posts. During the session, the SSP reviewed registered cases, pending investigations, preventive measures, and the general law and order situation, directing officers to ensure timely, professional investigations and strict adherence to established procedures. Special emphasis was laid on NDPS cases, with directions to adopt a zero-tolerance policy, target drug supply chains, identify repeat offenders, and track financial networks and assets linked to drug trafficking. The SSP also highlighted the importance of robust beat policing, proactive measures against criminal elements, and prompt redressal of public grievances to maintain peace and order across the district.
