Senior IAS Officers, Kailakh Trust Delegation, Polo View Traders Meet LG Sinha

Srinagar :A delegation of senior officers recently inducted into the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha at Raj Bhavan on Monday and expressed gratitude to the Lieutenant Governor and the Government of India.
The Lieutenant Governor congratulated the officers on their induction into the IAS and extended his best wishes for their future endeavours. He wished them success in their public service careers and urged them to work with dedication and commitment towards the welfare of the people.
Meanwhile, Mahant Rohit Shastri, President of Kailakh Jyotish & Vedic Sansthan Trust, also called on the Lieutenant Governor and discussed various issues concerning the promotion of spiritual tourism and preservation of Jammu and Kashmir’s rich cultural heritage.
During the meeting, Shastri requested the development of the International Yoga Centre at Mantalai in Udhampur as a global centre for yoga-related activities. The proposed initiative was discussed in the context of promoting J&K as an important destination for spiritual, wellness and cultural tourism.
Separately, a delegation of the Polo View Traders Association (North) called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and projected various welfare-related issues concerning traders operating in Polo View Market.
The traders apprised the Lieutenant Governor of issues affecting their business activities and sought appropriate measures for their resolution. The delegation urged the administration to look into their concerns and provide necessary support for the smooth functioning of the market.
The Lieutenant Governor heard the delegations and assured them that their genuine concerns would be examined by the concerned authorities.
