Poonch: A man died after coming in contact with a live electric wire in the Lassana area of Surankote in Poonch district on Monday. Officials said the victim suffered a severe electric shock and was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead. The deceased was identified as Ibrar Manhas, a resident of Surankote. Local police reached the spot shortly after the incident and initiated necessary legal proceedings.
