DLSA Ganderbal Conducts Meeting Preparations for 3rd Lok Adalat

Ganderbal | August, 29: In preparation for the upcoming 3rd National Lok Adalat of the year 2026, scheduled to be held on 12th September 2026, a preparatory meeting was convened Saturday under the chairmanship of Abdul Nasir, Principal District & Sessions Judge (Chairman, District Legal Services Authority), Ganderbal.
The meeting was held to review and finalize the arrangements for the smooth and effective conduct of the National Lok Adalat in the district. Detailed discussions were held regarding the identification and processing of suitable cases, coordination among the concerned stakeholders, issuance of notices to the parties, and other necessary arrangements to ensure maximum participation of litigants and effective disposal of cases through amicable settlement.
The Chairman emphasized the importance of the National Lok Adalat as an effective mechanism for providing speedy, accessible and cost-effective justice to litigants while reducing the burden of pending cases on the courts. The Judicial Officers were directed to identify suitable and eligible cases for being taken up in the National Lok Adalat and to make all necessary efforts for their effective placement before the Lok Adalat, so as to facilitate amicable settlement of disputes.
The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Ganderbal is making all necessary arrangements for the successful conduct of the 3rd National Lok Adalat and is coordinating with all concerned stakeholders to ensure maximum participation of litigants and effective disposal of eligible cases.
