Srinagar :J&K Ministers Javid Ahmad Dar and Satish Sharma have conveyed their heartiest greetings and best wishes to the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan.
In their separate messages, both leaders highlighted the rich cultural significance of the festival, describing it as a celebration of the enduring bond of love, affection, trust, and mutual respect between brothers and sisters.
Minister for Agriculture Production, Rural Development, Panchayati Raj, Cooperatives, and Election, Javid Ahmad Dar, emphasized that Raksha Bandhan embodies timeless family values, mutual care, and responsibility. He expressed hope that the occasion would deepen family ties and inspire society to uphold values of solidarity and compassion, while praying for peace, good health, and prosperity across the region.
Echoing similar sentiments, Minister for Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, IT, Youth Services & Sports, and Science & Technology, Satish Sharma, stated that the festival offers a meaningful opportunity to reaffirm commitment and care toward one another. He noted that these fundamental values play a vital role in fostering social harmony, unity, and brotherhood, wishing all families a peaceful and joyous celebration.
