Economics Deptt hosts lecture on Financial Management at CUJ Jammu

Jammu | Aug, 25: The Department of Economics at the Central University of Jammu hosted a lecture on “Financial Management” aimed at enhancing the financial acumen of undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Delivered by Abhinav Kohli, a Financial Consultant and IIM Ranchi alumnus, the session emphasized the significance of financial planning, informed decision-making, and the effective management of financial resources. Kohli’s insights bridged theoretical knowledge with practical applications, allowing students to relate classroom concepts to real-world financial scenarios. Dr. Shaveta Kohli, the Head of the Department, underscored the necessity for students to cultivate a robust understanding of financial management, highlighting its critical role in making informed financial choices. She encouraged students to leverage the knowledge acquired during the lecture in their academic and professional pursuits.
