Srinagar police issue child safety advisory to schools, madrasas

Srinagar : Police Station Batmaloo has issued a child safety advisory to schools and madrasas in the area, urging institutions and parents to take precautionary measures to ensure the safe movement of children.
As part of the advisory, school and madrasa administrations have been directed not to hand over children to any third person. Children should be released only to their parents or an authorised vehicle driver or attendant.
The institutions have also been asked to ensure that young children do not leave the premises on their own and that proper arrangements are made for their safe departure.
Police have advised parents not to send small children to schools or madrasas unaccompanied and urged them to remain vigilant and take necessary safety precautions.
The Station House Officer (SHO), Police Station Batmaloo, has requested school and madrasa authorities to circulate the advisory widely through institutional and private communication groups to ensure that the instructions reach parents and guardians.
Police stressed that cooperation between educational institutions and parents is essential to safeguarding children and ensuring their secure movement.
