Shopian : Under the Civic Action Programme, J&K Police in Shopian organised a road race marathon at Zainapora to promote physical fitness, sportsmanship, healthy engagement and a drug-free lifestyle among youth.
The race commenced from NIPS Zainapora, proceeded towards Police Station Zainapora and culminated back at NIPS Zainapora. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from local youth and sports enthusiasts, who took part with zeal and sporting spirit.
The programme provided participants an opportunity to showcase their endurance and athletic abilities while promoting discipline, unity, camaraderie and healthy competition.
The first, second and third position holders were felicitated with cash prizes and mementos in recognition of their performance, determination and sporting spirit.
