Both wanted in separate cases registered in Anantnag district
Srinagar :Jammu and Kashmir Police have issued lookout notices against two persons wanted in separate cases registered in Anantnag district, seeking information that could lead to their arrest.
According to the notices shared by Kashmir Zone Police, the two wanted persons have been identified as Mukhtar Ahmad Gujjar, son of Mohd Rafiq Gujjar, resident of Sanglan Chitter Gul, Anantnag, and Farman Khan, son of Abdul Gani Khan, resident of Sadanpora, Rajasthan.
Police said Mukhtar Ahmad Gujjar is wanted in connection with FIR No. 20/2026 registered at Police Station Soura under Sections 137(2) and 65(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and Sections 3/4 of the POCSO Act.
Farman Khan is wanted in connection with FIR No. 19/2026, registered at Police Station Lar under Sections 137(2) and 87 of the BNS and Sections 3/4 of the POCSO Act, according to the police notice.
The notices carry photographs of both individuals and state that a reward will be given for information leading to their arrest.
Police have appealed to the public to share any information regarding the whereabouts of the wanted persons with the nearest police station or by dialing 112.
The notices were circulated by Kashmir Zone Police as part of efforts to trace the accused persons and facilitate their arrest in the cases under investigation.
