Sopore : Police on Saturday said that it has arrested a suspect in Sopore and seized psychotropic substances during a routine check.
In a statement issued here on Saturday Police said that a police team intercepted a suspect at Super Bazar Crossing. Upon conducting a personal search, officers recovered illicit psychotropic substances from the suspect, identified as Hanan Fayaz Bhat of Batpora, Sopore. A case under FIR No. 207/2026 under Sections 8/22 of the NDPS Act was registered at Police Station Sopore to determine supply sources and backward linkages.
