Srinagar : Deputy Commissioner Srinagar AkshayLabrooSaturday chaired a meeting of the District Level Screening-cum-Coordination Committee (DLSCC) to review cases submitted under SRO-43 by next of kin of persons killed in terror-related incidents in the district.
The committee examined the claims and supporting documents and recommended eligible cases to the government for compassionate appointments, while some cases were recommended for cash compensation.
Labroo directed officers to ensure speedy scrutiny and disposal of eligible cases and stressed timely assistance to affected families without unnecessary delays.
Senior civil, police, Army, BSF and other security officials attended the meeting.
